Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital is @ 62. The first ever hospital commissioned under the ‘banner’ of Sri Sathya Sai Baba is turning 62 on 4th October 2017. Celebrating the joyous occasion, the staffers from SSSGH presented a musical evening today at the Sancum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Titled "Dhaynosmi Kritakrityosmi", the programme this evening was a mix of music and narrations, suffused with love and gratitude.
The session commenced at 1640 hrs with opening remarks by the Supdt. of SSSGH, Air Marshal (Retd.) Dr Vinod Kumar Varma. Expressing gratitude to Bhagawan for the phenomenal growth the General Hospital has recorded over the past six decades, Dr Varma presented a summary of the salient features of the "Temple Of Healing", mixing it up with statistical highlights. He also narrated a beautiful story of 'His Touch Of Grace', of healing with the grace of Bhagawan, saving a precious life.
The programme that ensued had some of the veteran doctors and staffers speaking on their inspirational experiences interspersed with songs of love and gratitude. Dr (Mrs.) Hema Gopinathan, Dr Ravi Dabir, Dr (Mrs.) Vijaya Bose, Dr (Mrs.) Hema Chayadri and Ms Easwaramma alias Easwari shared their inspiring 'Sai Touch Of Grace' stories with the audience. Songs included "Hum Ko Man Ki Shakthi De...", a folk song by Ms Easwari & Co. singing "Sathyaswaroopudavu Neevayya...", etc.
The Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital was the first of the 'Temples Of Healing" initiated by Bhagawan, on the 4th of October, 1956, on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dasami.
Bhagawan's Divine discourse was the grand finale, played on the public address system.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
