Appointment of a new Secretary

The Board of Trustees of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust at their meeting on 15th July inducted Sri K.Chakravarthy, Secretary as a member of the Board of Trustees. Consequently, the Board of Trustees have appointed Sri G.S.R.C.V.Prasada Rao as the Secretary of the Trust with effect from the date he assumes charge.

Sri Prasada Rao is a Senior IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He retired as the Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (Services) in 2001. Prior to this he had held several senior positions in the Government including Secretary to Government (Panchayat Raj Department).After retirement from the Government he also served as a member, Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal until 2004.Since then he has been a permanent Resident of Prashanthi Nilayam, which he has been visiting for over 45 years.
