The Board of Trustees of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Public Charitable Trust) met today, the 6th May 2011, and appointed Mr. Justice P.N. Bhagawati, former Chief Justice of India, as the Chancellor of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Deemed to be University)

The Trustees also co-opted the following persons to the Board of Trustees of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Public Charitable Trust):

1. Mr. Justice A.P. Mishra, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India
2. Prof. S.P. Thyagarajan, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Madras
3. Shri. R J Ratnakar, Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust
