SRI SATHYA SAI CENTRAL TRUST
Prasanthi Nilayam

Press Release

Date: 26th April 2011

The Trustees and members of the Council of Management of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust met this morning at Prasanthinilayam to condole the passing away of the Founder Trustee of the Trust, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and passed the following resolution:

At this the first meeting of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust being held after our most revered Founder Trustee Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba shed His mortal frame to return to His natural state of Pure and Universal Consciousness, we consider it our first and foremost task as Trustees and members of the Council of Management to place on record our reverential homage to Bhagavan Baba, as also our deepest gratitude to Him for giving all of us a chance to play a role, however small, in His monumental mission to serve humanity.

Bhagavan Baba wore a human frame and acted seemingly at a human level. However, His actions and missions always bore the stamp of the Cosmic Aspect of the Divine, immanent in an Avatar.

The task that now lies ahead of the Trust is unquestionably enormous and complex, particularly in the absence of the personal guidance from Bhagavan. The Trustees and members of the Council of Management unanimously offer themselves in all humility and with a sense of total unity at the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan Baba, and earnestly pray to Him to guide and inspire all the work they do with Sai’s Vajra Sankalpa, so that the Trust that He founded continues to make the difficult achievable, and the impossible a reality, exactly as it happened when He guided the Trust earlier. It is our hope that Bhagavan would graciously accept our prayer and respond to it so that Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust shines now and forever, with the radiance that is the hallmark of its Founder.

Signed by all the Trustees of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.
