Bhagawan is the very personification of Love,
and His Love finds expression in a myriad ways. The service
projects that He has initiated and the institutions that He
has established have touched the lives of millions and changed
them forever. Service to one’s fellowmen, Bhagawan says,
is the cornerstone for establishing peace in the world and
achieving true happiness in one’s life. For the past
several decades, He has inspired and continues to inspire
millions of His devotees worldwide by His personal example
to live the ideal that service to man is service to God.
On 2nd September 1972, Bhagawan Sri Sathya
Sai Baba founded the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, a charitable
trust. The trust has undertaken a number of welfare activities,
under Bhagawan’s guidance, in the areas of education,
relief to the poor, medical relief, drinking water supply,
and preservation and propagation of the rich culture and heritage
of our land through construction of museums, convention centers,
community halls etc. It has been His instrument, transforming
into action His message of selfless love, thus touching the
lives of millions. It has actively initiated the economic,
moral and spiritual regeneration of society and today stands
as a paragon of service worthy of emulation.
